First Malankara Syriac Orthodox (Jacobite) Church in Canada situated in Mississauga, a serene suburb next to Toronto. Head of the Church: Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East. Diocese and Diocesan Bishop: H.G. Yeldo Mor Theethose Arch Bishop Diocese of North America. This church is best known as "The Little Church With Big Blessings".

The church established in the name of St. Mary in 1983, registered as charity under Revenue Canada and Ontario Charitable Corporation. The main altar in the church is dedicated to the Mother of Lord St. Mary and the alters on the north and south sides are dedicated to Geevarghese Sahdo (St.George) and St.Gregorious (Parumala Thirumeni) respectively.

The main feast of the church is celebrated on Aug 14th and 15th of every year. St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church is under Malankara Arch Diocese in North America and the holy see of Antioch and all the East. Our present vicar is Rev. Fr. Manu Mathew.
